The third annual NIVB Meeting was held in Kutná Hora from 30th September to 2nd October 2024. In 30 oral and 64 poster presentations, participants covered a wide range of topics in virological and bacteriological research, including novel antiviral strategies and immunological topics. A major goal of the NIVB is to enhance collaboration between research teams across institutions and disciplines, and this meeting is an important tool in achieving this goal. Bringing together different scientific disciplines and institutions provides a strong platform for sharing innovative ideas and addressing current challenges in virology and bacteriology.nConference was supported by the National Institute of Virology and Bacteriology (Program EXCELES, ID Project No. LX22NPO5103) funded by the European Union–Next Generation EU.
