Original language description
The Scientific writing workshop for NIVB PhD students was held on 28th November, 2025. The workshop was led by Carlos V. Malo from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Charles University. The workshop consisted of a theoretical part, a practical part and group work. The PhD students were introduced to the principles of effective science communication. They then worked together on a common topic and experienced how scientists from different research groups with different focuses but a common goal work together. Finally, students prepared their own research outline text, which they were given feedback on.nThis work was supported by a grant from the National Institute of Virology and Bacteriology (EXCELES Program, ID LX22NPO5103) – Funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
