    Antibody-targeted N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide copolymer bound doxorubicin, unlike free drug, have both cytostatic and immunomobililizing activity. In the cured mice specific resistance to the second administration of the same tumor was observed andre-transplantation with a lethal dose of the same cancer cells survive without any additional treatment. Five patients with generalized brest carcinoma were treated with this polymeric drugs and no toxicity was observed in any of cases.

    Protilátkami směrovaná protinádorová léčiva na bázi N-(2-hydroxypropyl)metakrylamidu nesoucí doxorubicin mají na rozdíl od volného léčiva zároveň cytostatickou a imunomobilizační aktivitu. Myši vyléčené pomocí těchto konjugátů vyvinou systémovou rezistenci k příslušnému nádoru a bez jakékoliv léčby přežívají re-transplantaci nádoru. Po aplikaci tohoto léčiva pěti pacientkám s generalizovaným karcinomem prsu nebyly pozorovány žádné nežádoucí vedlejší účinky.
