Effect of Biocides on S. cerevisiae: Relationship between Short-Term Membrane Affliction and Long-Term Cell Killing
Original language description
Biocides cause yeast membrane depolarization and then permeabilization. The depolarization alone is not sufficient for complete killing of yeast cells under the action of a biocide unless it is accompanied by clear damage of membrane integrity.
Czech name
Vliv biocidů na S. cerevisiae: vztah mezi krátkodobým ovlivněním membrány a dlouhodobým zabíjením buněk
Czech description
Biocidy působí depolarizaci membrány kvasinek a pak její permeabilizaci. Depolarizace sama nestačí k zabití buněk, pokud není doprovázena zřetelnou permeabilizací.
