    Autotrophic cells of the psbH deletion mutant IC7 of the cyanobacterium Synechocystis PCC 6803 contain strongly reduced levels of chlorophyll when compared with wild-type (WT) cells. Fluorescence emission spectra revealed decreased content of both PSII and PSI complexes and analysis of thylakoid membrane complexes of IC7 showed an increased level of PSII reaction center lacking CP47. The results show that in autotrophic cells of the psbH deletion mutant the synthesis of CP47 becomes a limiting step in the PSII assembly

    Autotrofní růst mutanta IC7 sinice Synechocystis s chybějícím genem psbH je doprovázen výrazným poklesem obsahu chlorofylu ve srovnání s s divokým kmenem WT. Měření fluorescenčních spekter odhalilo snížený obsah fotosystému II (PSII) i i fotosystému I..Oproti WT mutant akumuloval ve zvýšené míře komplex reakčního centra s chybějícím CP47. Výsledky ukázaly, že vazba CP47 je v mutantu limitním krokem během skládání komplexu PSII
