    Glycosyl azides are new efficient donors for glycosidases. Their high water solubility facilitates transglycosylations with comparable or better yields than common O-glycosides. The azido group totally changes the beta-GalNAc-ase/beta-GlcNAc-ase ratio inbeta-N-acetylhexosaminidases, contrary to all known aglycons

    Glykosylazidy jsou nové efektivní donory pro glykosidasy. Jejich vysoká rozpustnost ve vodě usnadňuje transglykosylace se srovnatelnými nebo lepšími výtežky než u běžných O-glykosidu. Azidová skupina zcela mění poměr beta-GalNAc-asove/beta-GlcNAc-asové aktivity u beta-N-acetylhexosaminidas, na rozdíl od všech znamých aglykonu
