Flow field and mass transfer experimental and numerical studies of a synthetic impinging jet

Result description

The present impinging jet is generated using the zero-net-mass-flux actuator, the working fluid is air, and diameter of the emitting orifice D is 8.0 mm. The task has been studied experimentally (smoke phase-locked visualization, hot-wire anemometry andnaphthalene sublimation method) and numerically (FLUENT). The local mass transfer data were converted to the corresponding heat transfer data, and the results have been compared with the reference (continuous) impinging jets.

    Proudové pole a přestup hmoty u syntetizovaného impaktního proudu ? experimentální a numerická studie

    Impaktní proud je vytvářen pomocí generátoru s nulovým časově středním hmotnostním tokem tekutiny (vzduchu). Průměr výstupního otvoru je 8 mm. Úloha byla studována experimentálně (vizualizace, žhavený drátek a metoda sublimace naftalenu) i numericky (FLUENT). Na základě analogie mezi přenosem tepla a hmoty byl proveden přepočet lokálních hodnot přenosu hmoty na přestup tepla. Výsledky byly porovnány s chováním ustáleného impaktního proudu.
