Heterogeneous membranes based on zeolites for separation of small molecules.

  • Original language description

Heterogeneous membranes based on polymer-zeolite composites were prepared by casting from solution and by polymerization. Prepared membranes were tested for separation of small molecules. Separation of hydrogen and methane was characterized by permeability, selectivity and diffusion flux. The heterogeneous membranes prevail over homogeneous membranes in permeability and diffusion flux. The separation seelectivity of hydrogen and methane was equal 10.
