    Well defined monodisperse copolymer samples, poly(styrene-graft-tert butyl acrylate) and poly(4-methylstyrene-graft-tert-butyl acrylate), were prepared by tertbutylacrylate(tBuA)ATRP grafting from the respective linear monodisperse poly(styrene) or poly(4-methylstyrene) macroinitiators, carrying 40% of suitable haloalkyl initiating functions in the chains. Molecular weights of the copolymers increased linearly with tBuA conversion and were in accord with theoretical values.
