The role of lubracants in reactive compatibilization of polyolefin blends.

  • Original language description

Using of reactive compatibilization in PS/PP blends improves both particle dispersion and the tensile impact strength approximately twice. The compatibilization efficiency is enhanced by addition of the lubricants miscible with the PE component. No changes of the PP or PE crystalline phase were observed after the compatibilization.
