Flow instability and electrical conductivity of composites of hard metal carbides in polymer matrix.
Original language description
Investigation of the flow behaviour of melted composite soft hard metal carbide powder in a polymer matrix showed that high filler loading in a capillary rheometer operating at a constant piston speed pressure oscillations occurred. The measurement of electric conductivity of the solid composite materials in this range of particle concentration demonstrated that its dependence on temperature suggests a specific composite structure with a great number of conducting contacts.
