    In this review, we have reported the methods employed to form well defined gradient or block-gradient copolymers. Using controlled radical copolymerizations, such as ATRP, NMP, and RAFT, offers a very attractive and powerful option, especially given the one-step strategy used to form block-gradient copolymers.
