    The aim of the Fast Ionic Transport Systems 2025 conference was to present the latest developments in materials for ionic and mixed ionic-electronic conductive systems, from basic understanding to modern application possibilities. Attention was paid to polymer systems, solutions in the field of energy saving and storage, material safety, and planetary sustainability through advanced material design. The conference followed on from the long and successful series of Prague Meetings on Macromolecules (PMM) organised by this institute since 1967, and already in its 86th year. This time, the conference was combined with the 16th International Symposium on Fast Ionic Transport Systems (ISSFIT). This joint event pursued its scientific goals while offering a unique platform for participants from academia and industry. Our goal was to provide a space for interdisciplinary conversations, the sharing of new findings, discussions on interesting developments, and the foundation for new scientific networks and collaborations.
