    Effect of arc current modulation on plasma jet fluctuations in plasma spraying torch

  • Original language description

    Plasma jet fluctuations were analyzed on the basis of diagnostics with an array of high frequency photodiodes for dc plasma torch equipped by rectifier with current ripple 30 kHz. Generation of boundary instability with the current modulation frequency and its harmonics was proved using fast Fourier transformation, contour plots and phase portraits.
