Two Different Rotational Temperatrures From OH Spectrum in DC Thermal Plasma Jet(HTPP-11)
Original language description
Předneseno na konf.:High-Tech Plasma Processes Conference/11th./,Brusel,27.06-02.07.2010,str.29,: Plasma jet generated by the direct current plasma torch with water-argon stabilization is studied by optical emission spectroscopy. The torch is operated atthe arc current from 200 A to 400 A. The flow of plasma is restricted by the nozzle with diameter 5 mm or 6 mm. The jet is studied in two regimes: at atmospheric pressure and at low pressure 10 kPa. Calculation of rotational temperature from OH spectraleads to the result with two temperatures. The difference between these temperatures depends on operating conditions and on position in the jet. Results are compared with temperatures from atomic and ionic lines and discussion regarding interpretation oftemperature distributions is included.
