Der Beitrag befasst sich mit herausgestellten bzw. hinzugefügten Konstruktionen am Satzrand und untersucht sie aus dem Gesichtspunkt der Textemotionalität. Das Textkorpus bildet die erste deutsche Übersetzung des Romans ?Hordubal? von Karel Čapek, in demdiese Strukturen eines der markantesten Sprachphänomene darstellen. Die Analyse zeigt, dass emotional geladene Textstellen vor allem die am rechten Satzrand stehenden Konstruktionen wie Nachtrag, Rechtsversetzung und Ausklammerung mitgestalten. Kennzeichnend ist auch die Kooperation von syntaktischer und lexikalischer Ebene, wenn stark emotional geprägte Ausdrücke oft an den Satzrand verschoben werden.
