The main subject of this article are the wall painting in the church of St. Benedict i Kostelec near Krnov. There is a cycle from his life which are dated to second half 15th century. This is a unique iconografy in Central Europe, particularly in the area Silesia and Czech Lands. Iconograficprogram of painting refers to the moralistic theme and o th following of prope life. The painting are compared with other cycles legend from his life in whole Medieval Europe nce, especially in Italy, France, Germanyand Central Europe.
