In order to determine genotoxic effects of surface and wastewater organisms, has verified a potential utilization of miniaturized bacterial tests. They are SOS chromotest kit, MutaChromoPlate kit and Mutatox genotoxicity test. All the tests were carriedout on standard substances, samples of surface and waste water. All the tests were done in two variations-with and without metabolic activation. Based on our experience we can state that for this purpose can be successfully used miniaturised form of genotoxicity test - MutaChromoPlate kit.

Předkládaná práce se zabývá problematikou zjišťování genotoxických účinků znečištění povrchových a odpadních vod na vodní organismy pomocí miniaturizovaných komerčně dodávaných bakteriálních testů - SOS chromotestu, MutaChromoPlate testu a Mutatoxu. Vhodnost testů byla ověřována na standrdních látkách a vzorcích povrchových a odpadních vod. Na základě zjištěných poznatků byl vybrán jako nejvhodnější MutaChormoPlate test.
