A Complex slope deformation which affects significant part of slopes of the Veľká Rača Mt. (1236 m a.s.l.) from the top parts downward to the Klubinský potok stream bed (Klubinská dolina valley) represents one of the examples of the large-scale slope deformation in the region of Kysucké Beskydy Mts. Region belongs to the flysch Outer Western Carpathians belt built by Magura Nappe (Rača Unit). Flysch structure, tectonic preconditions and high dynamics of local relief cause vulnerability of this area to the massive slope deformation. In case of the Veľká Rača massif, we are dealing with the complex of several kinds of slope deformations, starting with ridge disintegration (sagging, lateral spreading, toppling) in the upper part of the massif and continuing with deeper rock slides and shallower debris slides on contiguous slopes. Flow slides which are often accompanied with debris flows, formed from the accumulation of former slope deformations, are very typical also.
