N-doped carbon xerogels prepared by ammonia assisted pyrolysis: Surface characterisation, thermal properties and adsorption ability for heavy metal ions
Original language description
Nitrogen-doped carbon xerogels were prepared by ammonia assisted pyrolysis. N incorporation was assessed by EA, SEM, TA-MS and gas sorption analysis. Porous texture for N-doped samples was improved in comparison with non-doped. Thermal behaviour of N-doped samples (air/inert) was changed against non-doped. Adsorption capacity for Pb(II) and Cu(II) ions was enhanced for N-doped samples.
