The purpose of the article is summarisation of basic results of research into the issue expressed by the following question: What are opinions of pupils and teachers in the Czech Republic for use of tablets in the classroom? The research took the form ofqualitative survey using criteria questionnaire. The research deals with two areas: a) Current status of tablets use in classroom, and b)Opinions of teachers and opinions of pupils concerning use of tablets for teaching/learning purposes. The research was performed at two grammar schools with general orientation and was implemented in the period from June to September 2015. Both schools had iPads available for classroom work since September 2014.
