Educational management is not possible without continuous collection, evaluation and application of valid information, providing a high-quality feed-back to all participants in the educational process. In the autumn of 2008, the first grades of secondaryschools in the Moravian-Silesian Region were tested in the Czech (Czechoslovak) history of the second half of the 20th century. The authors of the test created 253 exercises. The exercises were divided to two parts: 233 exercises made up the basis of the knowledge test and 20 exercises made up the attitudinal part of the test.
