Adaptation of Presentation and Structure of e-Learning Material
Original language description
This paper deals with learning realized only by computers which is adapted to user?s individual characteristics. This type of learning can make learning more effective and comfortable, but at the cost of demanding preparations of learning material.. Effective adaptive learning deals with three important parts: information?s about user, learning materials with appropriate metadata and algorithm of assigning proper presentation and structure of learning material to user with a given characteristics. Important user?s characteristics are described in the user model that uses mainly learning styles. These data were analyzed to verify the user model. In this paper are also described properties of a learning material that are important for adaptive learning and creation of adaptive e-learning material. Finally there is described the process of adaptive learning, where is displayed part of learning material to the user.
