INFLUENCE OF RAIN WITH THE INTENSITY OF LEAKAGES AT INSULATOR SUSPENSIONS
Original language description
This paper deals with the theory of the creation of leakage currents on insulator suspensions at the overhead line of transmission network system. In practice insulators are exposed to varying weather impacts during the year that influence the conductiveconditions of the insulator surface. Due to these weather impacts the flow of leakage currents is occuring on the insulator suspensions surface placed on the construction of the towers. On the basis of entrance data from the CEPS control system in Ostrava and measurement values from the Extra High Voltage (EHV) lab in Prague-Bechovice, systemised calculations and results are introduced. They show the influence of temperature and dampness on the flow and a value of the leakage currents.
