Original language description
Considering the application of SBRA, the paper turns attention to the substance of the reliability assessment of safety and serviceability of components and structures containing semi-rigid joints. Using pilot examples, the response of selected types ofjoints exposed to load combination is indicated, the reference values applied in the calculation of the probability of failure are defined and the analysis of the reliability function using simulation technique and leading to the calculation of the probability of failure Pf is indicated. The procedures and the results obtained according to the SBRA method and to the Eurocode EC3 are compared and discussed. Future studies on probabilistic reliability assessment of structure containing semi-rigid joints are indicated
