Original language description
This article focuses on the chosen field and it is the metallurgical industry. The paper applies principles from the enterprise risk management by dealing with healthy and safety risks. The article presents possible approaches for accident's modelling within a risk analysis. A particular case study is elaborated in the considered company for the system of devices which transport and store metallurgical gases and it models the potential release of the dangerous gas from the gas-holder. Part and parcel ofthe work is to evaluate possible losses on humans, surrounding buildings and their constructions, technical and technological devices after the release of the gas from the gas-holder. There is also indicated the usage of Multi-criteria analysis.
