Original language description
This paper provides information about modern diagnostic methods related to airtightness and airborne sound insulation of constructions. The authors haves been dealing with airtightness and acoustics intensively in the Cideas Research and Development Centre for Designing of Advanced Building Constructions. Cideas members are experts from Czech universities. Cideas works closely with leading building firms in the Czech Republic. The diagnostic methods can be used well in military activities in order to improve internal environment in building constructions where persons should be placed. Army of the Czech Republic has in managing a large number of constructions of technical, administrative and residential character. The first described method which helpsto reduce heating costs, the second leads to an increase in acoustic comfort. Airtightness measuring method can also be successfully used for testing the gas tightness covers.
