Exploratory Input Data Analysis
Original language description
The aim of this paper is to verify the suitability and representativeness of the input data used in advanced statistical methods. Before the application of advanced statistical methods it is desirable to realize exploratory analysis of variables from input database. This analysis can help to eliminate threats and weaknesses of the input data. Bad quality of variables could lead to non correct results of advanced analysis. Exploratory data analysis usually contains the following methods: box plot, characteristics of descriptive statistic and the test for normality. They help to verify statistical stability of our database. Normality is usually verified by the Kolmogorov Smirnov test or Shapiro Wilk test of hypothesis.
