AN ESTIMATION OF A CROSS-SECTION STRESS STATE IN A PRIMARY TUNNEL LINING FROM STEEL CONCRETE
Original language description
Composite lining cross section from shotcrete and steel elements is the most common structure designated to prop up the ground shortly after work excavation. The shocrete incorporates steel elements into the ground. The steel elements provide an immediate response to the ground yielding just right after a steel arch gets on. As shotcrete gets stiff with time the cross section becomes rigid and the lining response increases. A secónd shotcrete strata sprayed later resumes further enhancement of cross section rigidity. This composite cross section displays a time developing modulus of elasticity which allows a controlled release of primary ground stress around the excavation on lowest response and it brings the ground to bear a part of ground load itselfs. The paper presents an approach of figuring out the stress state in the cross-section of a primary turmel lining from shotcrete and steel armature. Based upon a theory of cooperating rings the approach stands for both yield condition be
