Original language description
The article examines the possibilities of numerical solution of chimney load from wind effects. The problem is modeled as a 2D task of flowed around cylinder with rough sheathing in a high Re number regime. The SST k-ω turbulence model is used. Calculations are performed and evaluated on two types of mesh. The quality of the calculations is examined in terms of the aerodynamic cd coefficient and its resultant value. The accuracy of the calculations is verified with parameters determined according to valid standards. (C) 2019 Author(s).
