    Analysis of reinforced concrete beam with small fibre

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with numerical analysis of reinforced concrete beam without shear reinforcement which is analyzed in two variations: made of commonly used reinforced concrete and made of reinforced fiber concrete. Steel fibers Dramix(R) OL 13/20 with dosage 110 kg.m-3 are used. Research program comprises comprehensive laboratory material testing, including compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and split tensile strength, and experimental loading of small beam elements. Material properties determined on the basis of laboratory testing are used for non-linear numerical analysis with advanced constitutive model SBETA, 2D computer model is used. Experiment results as well as numerical analysis results are compared and advantages of using fibre concrete are evaluated. (C) 2020 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
