Statistical Analysis of Experimental Chloride Profiles Resulted from LIBS
Original language description
This article presents statistical analysis of crucial parameters of chloride profiles from laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy system based tests. These statistical properties are important input parameters for numerical modeling of chloride penetration into concrete structures. Samples for the scanning tests were taken from an underground parking garage built in 1980. Profile images from five drilled cores are analyzed. Diffusion coefficients of concrete and surface chloride concentrations are then approximated by regression curves using the method of least squares. Results on statistical properties of considered parameters are expected to be used in random field modeling of concrete spatial variation for durability related probabilistic evaluation. However the correlation length was not obtained. (C) 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
