Original language description
The paper deals with numerical analysis of pretensioned experimental beams exposed to loading test. Pretensioned beams were designed as model structural specimens, adjusted to real dimensions of slab bridge beams, made of common concrete and new variant of high performance concrete with compressive strength about 100 MPa. Experimental beams were exposed to loading test for verification of load bearing calculation model, as compressive strength of HPC is on the border or oversteps the validity of current design codes. Numerical analysis was performed using software IDEA statica which enables to determine cogent effect of prestressing with respect to changes in time related to construction stages. Failure and cracking load appointed on the basis of experimental loading and numerical analysis are compared and discussed.
