Mechanical Properties and Shrinkage of Fine-Grained Concrete

  • Original language description

The paper deals with the verification of selected mechanical properties of fine-grained concrete with a grain size of up to 4 mm and typical and specialized tests. The introduction part of the thesis contains the most important information from the research area, which focuses on getting acquainted with the issue. The aim of the paper is a broader comparison of possible testing methods, especially the compressive strength of concrete. The tests also included testing of static modulus of elasticity and split tensile strength. Specialized experiments included depth of penetration of water under pressure and concrete shrinkage tests.
