Whole body vibrations when operating machinery
Original language description
The article focuses on problems associated with the influence of whole-body vibration when operating machinery and deals with the evaluation of results of measurement of whole-body vibration in current real work conditions on selected machinery, i.e. four mobile machines and three heavy duty truck-mounted cranes. Vibration is caused by the resonance of parts of the body or tissues and the increased tonus of muscles maintaining the body in a stable position. The main negative effect is that on the operator?s backbone. The obtained results confirm the necessity of paying, in the course of assessment, consistent attention to the prevention of exposure to whole-body vibration when operating machinery.
