The article is dedicated to the description of the design of an operational unit as a extension to a wheel chair. It is a unit which enables paraplegic users realization of simple actions to its operation. The unit has 4 degrees of freedom (without effector), all of them applied by rotational kinematic couples. Drive on all axis are electric using MAXON motors. The article describes mechanical design of the unit, control of the unit is not its part.
