  • Original language description

    This paper deals with a simulating and experimental explanation of the main resistance as one of the components of the kinetic resistance of a belt conveyer. The kinetic resistance of the belt conveyer is represented by the power which is necessary to constantly overcome by the belt conveyer drive in order to hold to the belt in the state of uniform motion. The main resistance was measured on the stand created in the Institute of Research and Testing of the Transport Institute, Department 342, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava.
