Determination of friction coefficient at sheet-metal drawing
Original language description
Computer simulation of sheet-metal drawing process requires setting of drawing conditions among them is the friction coefficient. Paper deals with influences impacting on friction coefficient value. Real conditions at drawing are simulated by method of drawing of metal strip, which is caught between flat clamping jaws. The conditions inside real tool and possibilities of their simulation by this method are described. The apparatus for measurement of friction coefficient was designed which makes possibleto improve the original measuring methods. Also the necessary computational formulae are mentioned.
