    Measurement of friction on die drawing edge at sheet-metal drawing

  • Original language description

    Friction coefficient value is one from drawing conditions which is necessary for computer simulation of sheet-metal drawing processes. In contribution the influences impacting on friction coeficient value are analyzed. Real conditions at drawing are simulated by a method - drawing of sheet-metal strip clamped between flat jaws. Thesituations inside tools and possibilities of simulation of these situations by this method are described. a new apparatus for measurement of friction coefficient was designed,which improves the quality of recent method of measurement. Also necessary computational formulae are mentioned. The proposed apparatus allows evaluation of force for slip bend by its pulling over the roller, stored in rolling bearings. Coefficient of rolling resistance f = 0,0015, so bearings resistance has insignificant influence to force value.
