Original language description
The paper deals with the active stabilization of the rigid rotor in a journal bearing. Using analytical methods it is shown that the force actuating on a rotor can increase the Bently-Muszynska stability threshold. The analytical conclusions were confirmed by the digital simulation and on the real laboratory test stand.
