    This paper is dealing with applications of Method of Initial Parameters for straight beams rested along its whole length on elastic foundation (subsoil). Derivation of relationships and analytical solutions of some examples according to the theory of 2ndorder (i.e. bending + compression of beams) are presented. Examples are solved via probabilistic approach (i.e. application of Simulation-Based Reliability Assessment ? SBRA method, Monte Carlo simulations and probabilistic reliability assessment).
