Original language description
This paper is dealing with application of the Method of Initial Parameters for straight beam rested on elastic foundation. Derivation of relationships and analytical solutions for one example according to the theory of 1st order (i.e. bending + thermal stress) is presented. Example is solved via deterministic and probabilistic approach, i.e. application of the Simulation-Based Reliability Assessment (SBRA) Method (Monte Carlo simulations and probabilistic reliability assessment).
