Reliability Analysis of Telescopic Universal Joints Shaft

  • Original language description

This article shows the use combination of simulation methods Simulation Based Reliability Assessment (SBRA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) on telescopic universal joints shaft. We obtain a considerable improvementand refinement of system reliabilities by incorporating method SRBA to the methods FMEA and FTA. This is very important, especially if done early enough in the development cycle
