Energy Saving Solutions for Hydraulic Circuits
Original language description
During the initial using of diesel engines emission Tier 4 and better the designers are under a pressure to find a technical solutions to reducing of emissions from diesel engines to increase the efficiency of connected components leads to using a downsizing engines with reduced emissions. One way how to achieve a reduction of power consumption by hydrostatic system is using of components with better efficiency. For example, when we try to increase the efficiency of the pump and of the motor by 3 % from 90 % to 93 %, the efficiency of the system consisting only two elements increase circa by 5,5 %, it saves 2,75 kW of power when the engine running with input power of 50 kW. The saving energy strategy is not only on way to increase of efficiency the hydraulic components. The viable strategies of saving energy are to use more efficiency system architectures, more efficiency hydraulic components, more efficiency control strategies, and even to switch of some components during times of power peaks is demanded. Incorporating elements and components of the hydraulic circuit provides a significant reduction of the input power required, reducing engine size, reducing engine cost, reducing vehicle cost and reducing the carbon footprint for this machine.
