Diagnostics device for 3D surface
Original language description
Thesis deals with the design and implementation of the control system of a surface scanning device for metallurgical materials. The work contains the analysis of hardware part of the device. Emphasis is put on the description of motoric part, the means of control and the part of the optical scanning. The results of the analysis are used for control unit design including the software part of the system. Part of the work is the design of the PC software for device operation and subsequent processing of the visual information. The results are data of the scanned surface. The development of the algorithm was realized in MATLAB software environment. The first tests was focused on mold’s surface defects detection, when the main condition was minimum detection resolution of scratches of 0.2 mm. The solution was after confirmation further elaborated and finalized.
