Original language description
This article describes Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar test of aluminum alloy EN AW 7075-T6. This method is used for material testing under high strain rate loading. The strain rate is approximately 10^2 - 10^4 s^-1. Based on measured data for three strain rates were set Johnson-Cook material model for FEM analyses. With the use of the material model and Ansys Explicit software, were simulated Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar test and compared the results
