Quality Management and Business Process Modeling
Original language description
Business processes represent the most essential part of the quality management. Precisely defined process is the only way how the product can be obtained repeatably with a required quality. Specification of business process is usually based on textual basis and/or in a form of flow charts. The problem is a lack of formalization in the process definition which enables to employ only the "best-practice" approach that requires feed-back from real system to improve process. Modeling and simulation of business processes can help to shorten the cycle radically due to possibility of computer-based experimentation. This contribution shows how the formalized building of business process models and XML can be unified with the principles of quality management toprovide one integral and flexible system, easy to use and easy to develop.
