Original language description
PAX is an integration and configuration tool for heterogeneous power quality monitoring networks primary designated for SCADA/HMI environments. On instrument driver base PAX can configure Power Quality Monitors (PQM) from different vendors in a user friendly and unified way. For the configured PQM#s PAX publishes their data in some standard way for SCADA/HMI environments (e.g. DDE). The PAX is fully written in LabVIEW and as SCADA environment is used Lookout. PAQ is PC-based Power Quality Monitoring Node using NI-PCI 16-bit board, NI-DAQ and firmware fully written in LabVIEW and follows the requirements of the newest Power Quality standard IEC61000-4-30. PAQ Node Elcom PQA01 is designated for display-less instruments, it has no user interfaces, but itis fully controlled by VISA PnP instrument driver written in CVI and LabVIEW.
