PAQ Net -Power Acquisition Network
Original language description
PAQNET is integrating platform for heterogenous network of different power monitor instruments from different vendors. PAQNET is built on three basic parts: PAX, PAQNET Bridge and PAQ Node fully written in LabVIEWTM. The PAX (PAQNET Explorer) is an integrating and configuration tool for heterogeneous power quality monitors. On instrument driver base PAX can configure Power Quality Monitors # PAQ Nodes from different vendors in a user friendly and unified way. For all configured PAQ Nodes the PAQNET Bridge publishes their data in some standard way for SCADA/HMI environments (e.g. DDE) and stores data to SQL database. PAQ is PC-based Power Quality Monitoring Node using NI-PCI 16-bit board, NI-DAQ and firmware fully written in LabVIEWTM and follows the requirements of the newest Power Quality standard. PAQ is designated for display-less instruments, it has no user interfaces, but it is fully controlled by VISA PnP instrument driver written in CVITM and LabVIEW.
