Increasing the reliability of outdoor MV network by means of remote- controlled elements
Original language description
This paper takes down the knowledge of possibility and method of Reclosers (Remote-controlled circuit-breakers) and other remote-controlled elements utilizations in medium voltage outdoor networks. The introduction of remote-controlled components, such as outdoor disconnecting switches, Reclosers and other automation components is one of the ways to increase the reliability of electrical energy supply. Points of introduction of these components can be determined suitably by the methods of multi-criteriaanalysis. All the efforts made during implementation of remote-controlled elements into distribution electrical power networks are based on the intention to reduce the total outage period, which is one of the indexes for evaluation of network accessibility (According to the valid regulations, outages lasting 3 minutes or less shall not be included into accessibility evaluation). The element, which enables to reduce the outageperiod under 3 minutes is Recloser. This can not be always don
